I always think of these as the most "Japanese" of American trains. It's not just that they're a a Japanese brand and presumably technically related to some Japanese EMUs they vaguely resemble. The color scheme would fit in around Tokyo, vaguely recalling the Tokyu livery often called "kabuki" and particularly the Narita Express.
