Such an interesting picture. This is The City of Kansas City due at about 1050am. The little passenger shelter at the left is on the GM&O Kansas City line that still had a daily passenger train. There is that substantial crossbuck sign, the mail crane, that nostalgic jointed rail and codelines. No.3 appears to be heading in to the siding near the searchlight signal. No. 10 - the City of St. Louis - was due east about 10:20am so may have been a bit late and thus a meet. I have no idea what make and model the automobile is. Beautiful shot George. The car is either a Mercury or a Ford.
