This locomotive is ex-Southern Pacific 1744, a 1901 Baldwin. It was built as a coal-fired compound, I think saturated, but was simpled and convert to oil burning (and I think superheated) early on, ca. 1912-1920. It used to pull the Big Easy Steam Train, but was for sale last time I checked.
