Royal Canadian Pacific is westbound to Cranbrook as part of the Rockies Experience excursion. This was one of many spots affected by flooding not long before.

The Hudson Bay, VIA train 693, is heading into Thompson MB on its run from Winnipeg to Churchill, MB.

The former Keokuk Junction Railway FP9 1752 now works on the Ohio River Scenic as it leads its passenger train into Tell City. The trackage is owned by the Hoosier Southern.

In the namesake town of the subdivision, the train slowly moves through Elbow Lake past the large elevator complex. This would be my final shot before calling it a day, what a chase!

CP 1401 continues west on the Elbow Lake Sub nearing Barrett.

The business train heads over the former Soo Line trestle in Hoffman. The Soo Line lettering is still noticeable if you look close enough, although quite faded.

After going in the hole behind an oil can for two eastbounds, the office car special gets back on the move westbound from the siding east of Belgrade.

CP's trio of F units shove the office car special under the signal bridge at CP Hoffman. My friend and I were surprised to be the only railfans at this location.

The classic F units look right at home passing this old elevator on the Elbow Lake Sub in the tiny town of Farwell.

A couple miles out of Glenwood, the "Royal Canadian Pacific" heads west on the Elbow Lake Sub back home to Calgary. The swamp in the foreground provided a nice reflection.

The first minutes of sunlight greet a quad set of F units leading the charge through Mackenzie with the “Canada 150” train.
