After being on the property almost a year, these two GP's are finally in a nice spot together. Considering the amount of snow, those plows seem to be a bit of overkill in Chicago!

An Alaska RR GP38-2 pulls a cut of intermodal cars in the yad at Whittier.

A pair of ARR GP40H switch the yard at Whittier, pulling onto the bridge just west of the yard ladder. The 'H' designation shows that the engines are equipped with HEP for passenger operations.

SD70MAC 4320 silently watches GP40Hs 3014 and 3009 switch the yard at Whittier.

GP38 2007 works the yard at Whittier. This town is the exchange point for the rest the rail network in North America, via a car ferry, one of which can be seen in the harbor in the background.
