Georgia RR GP7 #1026 in Lithonia, October 1978. This locomotive is preserved and now resides at SERM in Duluth, GA.
Recently delivered to SERM, the GA 1026 GP7 was rebuilt by TVRM in Chattanooga, and now sits idling in the yard at Duluth, waiting to take museum patrons for rides. See Before photo taken by Andre... (more)
1026 has been tucked in for the night in TVRM's East Chattanooga shop. The paint work is finished and the unit will head for her new home in Duluth, GA at SERM soon.

The base coat has been applied, you can almost smell the fresh paint in the image. This is still a work in progress, but looking great already.
