The rotaries are entering Truckee, CA after a long day getting over Donner Pass.

While I was waiting for the rotaries to show up the spreader came along and shoved snow onto the #2 track for the rotary to send over the bank.

It's 7 a.m. at Soldier Summit when Utah Railway 5004 East is pulliing it's load of empty coal cars up to the summit.

I cross country skied west from the Soda Springs railroad crossing about 1/2 mile to get this shot.

I was getting ready for a snow run with my speeder club when #25 was pulling the dinner train on it's evening run on the Mt Shasta branch of the railroad.
