A NS research train rolls across the diamond with the Ann Arbor railroad and past the NS Yard office in Milan. Just out of sight to the right 765 is being serviced for the trip to Fort Wayne.

The local based out of Milan has just finished work and tied up south of the diamond. Power for the local is one of just 81 Conrail painted units on NS.

A sudden burst of rain drove off many of the photographers right as the NS engine finally cut away from the NKP 765 after bringing it up from Fort Wayne.

This NS roadrailer train is pounding the Ann Arbor crossing in Milan, MI on its way south toward Fort Wayne.

This was a lucky catch! Ann Arbor's one road freight is heading North into the setting sun after working the NS interchange at Milan.

The one Ann Arbor road freight has just made a pick up at the interchange and here is seen crossing the NS mainline on it's way North towards Ann Arbor.
