I stumbled onto a photo freight at Helmstetter's and just happened to catch 734 coming around the bend before the sun dropped below the mountain.
734 doing what it did for years: hauling passengers up and down the mountain. Here she does that around the famous Helmstetter's Curve.
But the WM didn't HAVE GP30s! Doesn't matter. The 501 still looks great in the sun in front of the Cumberland station.
