L & N train in the MoPac's yard on the way out of town
Keeping up with this train was a tough job, but no speeding tickets.....
Beautiful sights and sounds
I am not sure if the sun's reflection is hiding the number on the engine or if one isn't there...sorry but I didn't keep my notes.
Old F units, even an FT, plus Alcos all over the place...plus resident gardners eating the weeds....
Benjamin Hill was a great railfan location.
The Vancouver Passenger Station was a friendly place.
Once a day the Milwaukee Road sent a train north from Portland.
These Alcos sure had a distinctive "chug" to them.
These Alcos were not running when the picture was taken.
The old red and the white F units were still working locals
B & O and Penn Central power in SoCal was a rare but welcome sight
Pool power galore
The UP and the Burlington U28C "belly up" before heading out
