SP 7247 east throttles up it's large consist as it climbs toward the Mescal Summit on the SP Lordsburg's district east of Tucson. It's very cold this morning with a hint of snow on the ground.

KCS 4619 south leads a heavy manifest train up the steep grade of Rich Mountain in western Arkansas.
UP 1090 has it's complete hood taken off at the Jenks shops while UP 685 is in beginning stages of repairs.
