Remnants of the former Pennsylvania RR Altoona Car Shops still stand guard as 18N arrives into Rose Yard. As of this writing 18N carries blocks for Altoona, Allentown, and Oak Island.
NS Highhood 5192 sits next to the newest AC44C6M rebuild by the Juniata Shops this afternoon. 4494 was rebuilt from C44-9W 9152.
NS 4493 in Helper Service is on the relay tracks, waiting for it's next assignment.

NS 6401 getting some work done just outside the shops this morning. This was rebuilt from NS 3568
OUCH! A Sperry Railcar rear ended a stopped NS Freight with a helper and caused a lot of damage including injuring several people in the railcar. The 7240 was the unit hit on the NS train.
NS 6224, basks in the morning sun in Altoona. Having had the finishing touches added to it. This will be heading to Buffalo NY soon.
NS 4492, brand new and not released yet, is with sister units 4491 and 4487. Basking in the afternoon sun.
