At 10,135ft above sea level, it was a bit chilly taking this photo! A late afternoon train arrives at the terminus of the Gornergratbahn, high in the Alps.
The two double rack railcars Bhe 4/8 3041 and 3044 are on the ascent above Riffelalp from Zermatt up to Gornergrat, with the impressive view to the Matterhorn (4477 meter a.s.l.).

The two Bhe 4/8 railcars 3041 and 3044 were built in 1965/1975 by SLM and BBC. They will reach the Gornergrat station in a few seconds, with the Matterhorn and Dent Blanche in the background.
