NS 770 flies through Abingdon doing at least 50 MPH with 5 GEVOs in run 8 (two were in DPU on the rear).
Running parallel to West Main Street into another hot morning.
An ex-LMS Dash 8 is on the point of NS R57 loaded with Military vehicles on DODX flat cars.
NS I2A passes a tied down V40 at Abingdon.
NS I2A, an extra 22A, has just cleared the Litchfield signal as it heads west down the main past NS V40 on the siding at Abingdon.
The local moves east on the siding as the tail end of 22A comes by on the main.
Westbound gets back underway after holding to allow the local to get into the siding at Abingdon.
Set-outs made ,empties collected, time to head back to Bristol.
Number boards are a little scruffy but this train is moving!
The westbound had a long wait until the local cleared the main. They did get to see the mail delivered, however.
