I found this local just heading onto the Aberdeen Subdivision in Blackfoot, Idaho. Just coming off the Montana Subdivision. It was nice to see another SD40N in action.

Set my sights on a line I haven't photographed much the Union Pacific Montana Subdivision. I was rewarded with a Idaho Falls to Pocatello train. Lead by SD40N's 1666, 1710, and SD59MX 9907.

The Savage Bingham & Garfield has applied a wrap / paint job to one of their GP38's. I was able to go over and get an afternoon shot, of this salute to veterans themed unit.

Westbound UP 9064, rumbles around the high banked curve at Lakepoint, Utah.

This is my second BNSF coal train out on the Shafter Subdivision. With three units up front, and a DPU on the rear. They can make pretty good time.
