A 1930's era pickup truck and train crew check over the schedule before departing on the Sunset-Moonlight Special. At only 17 years old, the Susquehanna 142 fits perfectly in this picture.

After the second run to Ivyland, the engineer watches out of the cab of #40 for the sign to notch up the throttle for the run-by.

While waiting for NHIR 2198 to back up, I shot it with this rail made in 1905, exactly 100 years earlier. New Hope's 2-8-0 #40 was built 20 years after by the Baldwin Locomotive Works.
