Heading back to Portland from Trainfest in Michigan.

Three generations of railfans stand trackside to get a closer look at 4449 as it makes its way westward through Michigan after attending Train Festival 2009 in Owosso.

With the first run of the #4449 since its arrival in Minnesota, she puts on a show leaving Dayton's Bluff for Chicago. Lots of cars behind her today.

With MILW 261 out for servicing, SP 4449 was used for the Fall Excursions held every year on the Mississippi River. Tickets are on sale for this years trips, not sure what the power will be yet.
