A unit oil train curves between the sidings at Woodford and Walong on the approach to the Tehachapi loop.

Fog and clouds break, illuminating just enough of the train to make an interesting scene. Was nice to get a different perspective of a line I have shot nearly my whole life.

A view I had shot a few times before in the early 2000s...getting tougher with the tree growth. Shot at (of course) the famous Tehachapi Loop. No drone here.

The air is thick with wildfire smoke, blocking out much of the view as a BNSF manifest freight roars upgrade at the famous Tehachapi Loop.
