CNW 8005 crosses the swollen Cedar River in August of 1993. Once a gauntlet bridge, it is single track in this photo. Once a bottleneck for traffic, the bridge has since been double tracked.

They day started out slow in Waterloo with nothing shootable on the Iowa Northern or CN, so we headed down to Cedar Rapids and ran into the CN turn with a nice pair of SD60s.
