Canadian Pacific SD70ACu 7011 is picking up 26 cars at Shoreham Yard in Minneapolis, prior to heading west towards Glenwood. Taken from public property at University Avenue.
CP 7059 leads it’s first train on the out west, CP 369 towards East port Idaho were it’ll interchange to the UP, and continue on to Portland Oregon.
The next morning we went down to the BC/ID border at Eastport. Once there we ran into train 369 again, the UP crew had just gotten on and we’re starting to slowly pull their train into the USA.
It's early in the morning as heritage unit CP 7012 (along with CP 8923) powers a short CP 253 off the St. Lawrence River bridge and past the partly torn up Lasalle Yard.

An NC bound loaded ethanol train transitions from the main to track 1 at Hyatts with foreign power doing the honors.
CP 7052 brings K637 west.
