The southbound return to Chattanooga of a TVRM 21st Century excursion crosses the Tennessee River. While SOU 630 should've been leading this run, the 8099 did a good job as a substitute.

By this time the morning fog had burned off, and N&W 611 had blue skies for its northbound trip. Adding to the image, even the hoppers to the right are N&W.

After completing a servicing stop at Crewe, 611 races on toward Norfolk.

On her inaugural excursion , 611 had a minor issue that required stopping for a few minutes at this location. She's finally back underway as she continues to Norfolk.

On her first public excursion after her first rebirth, 611 accelerates east out of Appomattox. Here's to lots of great images of her in 2015!
