Conrail was just eleven days old and very little had appeared to change on April, 11, 1976 as two former Reading GP30s finished humping a cut of cars at the former Reading yard in Rutherford, PA.
A tank car rolls into one of the 56 classification tracks at a busy Norris Yard. Thanks to the Southern Railway Historical Association and NS for allowing us to tour their yard.
