C&O #614 is gently being moved into position where BB #6 will assume the lead role to shepherd this venerable icon to its permanent home in Clifton Forge, VA. May 2011.

After waiting on NS 327 to clear the single main north of Pikin, NS 042 with C&O 614 has resumed the trip northward towards Waynesboro.

A large crowd has gathered to watch NS hand 614 over to the Buckingham Branch for the final leg of it's journey to Clifton Forge for display at the C&O Heritage Center.

Making a northbound move over the NS Valley line, C&O 614 is enroute to Clifton Forge from Roanoke.
