CP and SOO SD40-2's are still common power on all types of freight between Montreal and Chicago. While GE's rule the rockies on CP, the east is still home to these well worn workhorses.

An Alco meeting a steam locomotive in 2004 is heaven to a veteran railfan like myself. The Steamtown Mall is the best place to stand while in Scranton.

Ex CPR 2317 heads the shuttle back to the station to pick up another tour for the roundhouse museum. The damp weather provides an even better atmosphere for an active steam locomotive.
