Amtrak 5 in the days of F40's approaches Emigrant Gap after a fresh snow. This is single track now, although UP has plans to relay the second track someday.

Amtrak # 5, running a bit late, heads through the beautiful scenery of Donner Pass in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Lake Spaulding can be seen to the left of the train in the distance.
