The former junction station of Triptis has not yet been rebuilt by DB so still shows the signs of its previous importance.
I believe this is the NS 51st Street yard, formerly Erie, just west of I-94. The view is looking south from about five thousand feet. The Amtrak collision of November 30 occurred near here.
