A trio of Dash 8's and loads from the Minorca mine sit on the siding at the south end of the CN Virginia yard waiting for some aid to fix a faulty wiper blade.

The heavy wet snow has tapered off a bit as CN 2010 makes the return trip back to Two Harbors, MN.

Under less than ideal conditions weather-wise, CN 2006 is pulling empties back from Two Harbors, MN for U.S. Steel to load fresh made taconite pellets.

At one time the GE C40-8 dominated CSX trains, and even in 2015 were a regular sight. That is all but a memory now as all of them have been retired from CSX's roster

After meeting a southbound pellet load, CN 2027 catches the last light of the day traveling north along the running track on the CN Iron Range Sub at Sparta, MN.

CN 2039 runs away from the setting sun while passing thru Sparta, MN on the way to the yard and dock facilities at Two Harbors, MN to deliver the cargo of steaming taconite pellets.
