NS train 206 rounds the bend into Shirley with a nice clean UP leader along with 2 NS units.

Making time and shaking everything in the process! The color scheme is one that stands out for better or worse but the horns never disappoint.

CSXT southbound car van train creates curiosity with the driver of the car as he slips a peek at the train too.

Ex Conrail 6055 (CSXT 7303) leads a fast stack train on it's way towards Selkirk yard before it gets a new coat of paint in the last light of the day.

Often times you get to see foreign power on the ethanol trains along the Hudson and it was to catch this Soo 6043 and CP 6093 lashup.

CSXT #150 has just passed through Voorheesville and is just minutes away from Selkirk Yard on a nice fall day.

A pair of GE ES44HH's (3019 & 885) head west with the last of the foliage clinging on to give a little color.

There is just enough snow to make the colors pop as this eastbound stacker heads towards Selkirk having just crossed the trestle in the background over Rte 20.

The Wabash heritage engine leads MOBO through a persistent snow with railfans following it's progress north. Unfortunately, just an hour or so later this train would derail several of it's cars ... (more)
