An NS local delivers two loaded bulkhead flats to the PreFab Steel Mill in Charlotte, NC. The SD40-2 built as NW 6092 in March of 1975 has retained the same road number for 46 years.

Upon entering Nebraska out of Iowa it's practically impossible to miss this Centennial and the massive UP Bigboy that sit high up on the bluff in Kenefick Park overlooking Interstate 80.

A CSL local sails past staged UP power waiting for the next empty coke train.
Built in November of 1962 as SAL 500, these 51 year old units look great. Paint job is two years old and still glows. Second unit blt April, 1962 as CB&Q 944.
