| Remarks: This United Aircraft Turbo was originally built for the New Haven as a government demonstration project. But it was not finished untill PC takeover so it never wore NH colors. PC operated the turbos for a short while untill Amtrak took over all Penn Central passenger operations. |

Awesome! One of the things that makes RP so great is the abundance of such rare photos of these sets. Thanks for posting Don! Hard to believe that these Turbotrains of the late 60's are to this date the fastest scheduled production trains to ever ride the rails in North America - 'cept maybe the ICE trains brought over for testing over 20 years later. |
