| Remarks: Spirit of the B&O CSX 900400 was painted in this beautiful red paint scheme in 2003 to honor the 175th anniversary of the B&O railroad. The project was undertaken by B&O historian Dwight Jones who paid for all materials and painted the caboose himself. Thanks Dwight for this great looking caboose and a rolling commemoration of America's first railroad. |

Beautiful photo. Remember when it wasn't unusual to see a red caboose? Also, what is that on the front axle on the rear truck? Looks like a cutout on the body to line up with it also. |
