Remarks & Notes |
After cleaning up a minor derailment, the crew of the CLNA work train shoves west to the outskirts of Farmville at 1330 in order to begin dumping ballast. The 815 is the only 6 axle power on the CLNA and was one of the rebuilt 567’s the line had when they expanded to take over the Raleigh to Plymouth mainline from NS in 2007 in addition to a GP16 and a pair of GP10’s. The unit has always been used as back up, especially since the acquisition of several more GP’s in the past year, so it’s nice to see her getting out and about. |
