Remarks & Notes |
Whoopsie in East Ontario today. Apparently Watco's SW1500 was switching heavy corn syrup tank cars, when they got away and shoved the switcher into Watco's parked GP35. The former Palouse River & Coulee City Railroad (PCC) unit is used as back up power for switching at the Ventura Foods plant at CP Ventura (just west of the East Ontario Metrolink station). The GP35 left one truck upright when it tipped. It is a former CR/PC/PRR unit. I hope this isn't its end. |
