| Next month all six surviving 'A4' class Pacifics will be gathered together for the first time at the National Railway Museum at York. These iconic machines are now almost 90 years old, so it is quite remarkable that in 2013 three are still certificated for running on the national network. It's wonderful to see them doing what they were designed to do and this morning 'Sir Nigel Gresley' was stretching his legs in fine style with the first train of the day to Pickering. |
