With its tail end clearing the GTW main, a pair of Ann Arbor Alco RS-2's throttle up and begin their journey south to Toledo, OH. In just a few years, the Ann Arbor would be no more, trips by the line to Toledo, OH. would be no more, and the Alco RS-2's would be no more, however, this scene is repeated 5 days a week by current owner Great Lakes Central, although, this would be better to see once in a while. 35mm slide from my collection, photo by Bill Clynes.
