| Steam operations at the Saiccor Mill at Umkomaas on the KwaZulu Natal South Coast were interrupted recently, while maintenance issues with the remaining two locomotives still in service were resolved. This is ex South African Railway Class 19D (4-8-2), No. 2767, working pretty hard as she leaves the exchange yard with a load of 11 STJ (Timber) Wagons for the short run up to the mill. No. 2767 was built by Robert Stephenson and Hawthorns in 1945. |
