After an early departure out of Revelstoke the passenger special takes the Connaught track and tunnel through the Rogers Pass. The sun is just beginning to crest the peaks.
The picture is level- the grade is not. The FP9's are pulling hard to lift the RCP over the 2.2% grade of the Big Hill of the Kicking Horse Pass
