Morrison-Knudsen's Mountain Top, PA facility was busy during '93-'94 rebuilding SD45s into SD40-2Ms for the SP. On September 1, 1994, a trio of new units - SP 8600, 8601, 8655 - lead a single CR GP38-2 on their way west through Hershey, PA.
