Remarks & Notes

Built in 1953 by GMD (canadian division of EMD, London, Ont), serial A503, nee CP 8416. Rebuilt by CP in 1982 and re-numbered 1509. 262,000 lbs, 1500 h-p. A rare shot as there are only 11 GP7 units left on the CP roster.
