Remarks & Notes

The 8444 pulled a special from Portland through the Deschutes Canyon to Bend and return (two days). UP 6085 helped. UP has trackage rights on this line. Note the two tone gray paint job on the 8444, which I really like. Not too long after this the 8444 got its old number back.
