Recently donated to the City of Keithsburg, a former GN GP9 and former NYC caboose stand proudly north of downtown displaying the colors of the two railroads that once served this town. The M&StL bridge over the Mississippi River can been seen in the background behind the caboose, despite not seeing a train in 30 years. The lift span was destroyed by vandals on June 29, 1981, but the rest of the bridge remains.
