Remarks & Notes

The quiet country station of Wellington Bridge was totally transformed during the sugar beet season between September and January each year. It was the last remaining loading point for this traffic which was taken to a factory in Mallow for processing. Here 077 waits patiently whilst it's train is loaded, this was the first season that 071 class locos saw use on these trains.
