The California Zephyr has arrived in Salt Lake from the West on the Western Pacific. The locomotives have been changed (the inbound WP units are to the left) and the train is now on the Rio Grande for the run to Denver. This will happen only one more time as the WP was going to abandon their segment of the train the next day. Today, although the station remains, the area is now devoid of track.
