With the temperature below freezing, AMTK 231 leans into the curve at Mogul, just West of Reno, on its way home with the Reno Snow Train. With a nod to tradition, the 231 is flying white flags noting its status as an extra. In the five years since this was taken, the hills in the background have become covered with houses.
