Just like Donner-almost. It's a Saturday morning in early December as a Nor'easter winds down from dumping 2 feet of snow on the Berkshires. In 1992 the Boston Line was running heavy with most New England East-West traffic. To keep the line fluid, Conrail ran this flanger train back and forth over Washington Hill throughout the night. Power is CR GP15-1 #1646 and CR B23-7 #1989. The flanger was built by Conrail at Hollidaysburg in 1978.
This album seeks to portray classic New England and Upstate New York imagery. It showcases the most perfect examples of regional identity, with special attention to structures and landscape.
