"Lifeline Express" is a hospital eye-train which provide free operations for poverty cataract patients in remote area of Mainland China . The first "Lifeline Express" departed Hong Kong on July 01 , 1997 . Nowadays , there are more than 64,000 patients have had their eye sight restored through this "Lifeline Express" . One of the three "Lifeline Express" was being exhibited at KCR Fo Tan Yard on June 23 and 24 , 2007 to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of "Lifeline Express" and also our city - Hong Kong Special Administrative Region .
