| It is hard to believe that it is already over a year since the McCloud Railway made its last revenue run East of McCloud. June 30th of 2006 marked the end. I chased this freight from McCloud to Burney on April 27th. Snow capped Mt. Shasta loomed in the background and snow still covered some of access roads to the right of way. Later that day, #38 would spread the rails and it and the first car would end up on the ties. |
