Remarks & Notes

The large and very active coal yard and harbor in Ashtabula shows the "empties" side of the yard which is split by one of the docking harbors that intersects the yard. Trains of empty hoppers are made up here then travel up the river grade to the mainline that crosses CSX just south of here a mile.
