Remarks & Notes
Former Lehigh & Hudson River C420 works the Allentown Hump, paired with a GP38-2. The former Lehigh Valley, nee Jersey Central yard was an Alco Mecca in 1978, but it would be shortlived. A 1979 trip a few months later yielded zero 251s or 244s. #2074 was built in March 1966 as L&HR 24. It was later sold to Maryland & Delaware as 54, and later yet went to Arkansas & Missouri as their 54 in 1986, where I believe it's still in service. #8055 was built in February 1973 for Penn Central. It went to CSX in the split as their #2722, where I also believe it is still in service.
