| Amtrak San Joaquin service train stopped at Merced where many will transfer to the Yosemite bus. Like so many passenger cars before it, these Morrison-Knudsen "California Cars" would not prove enough to save the company that designed them. When MK droppd out of the passenger car business, Alstom picked up the design and built the next two orders of California Cars. |
